Password or Access Issues with Jira

What do I do if my password doesn't work?

If your password doesn't work, it could be related to one of the following issues:

    You don't have an account.
    1. If you don't have a Jira account, you'll need to get your access approved by the documented Primary Web Liaison for your website.
    2. If you don't know who this is, or whether or not you have an account, just submit a request using our contact form and we'll help with your request.
  1. You have used the wrong password.
    1. If you get locked out of Jira we can unlock your account locally. However, if there is an issue with your UNI then you'll need to contact CU IT since they are responsible for managing UNIs and related support. For more information on your CU UNI and how to reset the password, please visit the Manage My UNI page.

Confirming Your Password

Jira uses your CU account information for your username (UNI) and password. This is not necessarily the same login information that you use for your CUIMC email.  To test whether your password is functional, try logging into MyColumbia.
