To add an event to your site, you'll need to use Bedework. Bedework is the centralized event management system for Columbia University and Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Once your department's Bedework calendar is set up, you can add events with full details. After your event has been added to Bedework, it will automatically show on your website's events page.

Creating a New Calendar or Requesting Access
If your site doesn't have a calendar, or if you don't have access to the existing calendar, you can contact CU IT to assist you:
Please note that recurring Bedework events will not appear on your site. We're working to fix this. In the meantime, if you would like recurring events to surface on your site's calendar, please create each Bedework event individually. An easy way to do this is to just copy the event you want to reoccur, then just adjust the date and details as required. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.
If you've added events through Bedework, but they are not showing on your site, please submit a JIRA ticket to Web Services to investigate the issue. If you do not have JIRA, please contact Web Services through our website.
If your events are displayed on your site, but showing incorrect information, please contact Bedework.
